The Chives I had harvested a few days back, were dehydrated and packed in glass jars. I store them in either the freezer, or in a dark pantry. I add them to sauces, stews and soups the entire fall and winter. Dehydrating is a useful way to preserve . Dehydrating will be postponed til the weather changes, the wet weather would make dehydrating more difficult.
The bread was made to warm up our home. It is a quite chilly day for the end of May.
